I’ve seen people putting on a kilogram in a day and I’ve seen people losing 1,5 kg in a week.
We sometimes fool ourselves into thinking that our bodies won’t know about this one bar of chocolate.
Now, I don’t want you to use this knowledge to make you feel bad. Quite the opposite: We all have a bad day, sometimes even binge days, but that doesn’t mean we can’t correct the damage. By gently guiding ourselves back to the correct path, we can institute change by keeping in mind that every bit counts. I can make my next meal a big salad and drink plenty water and my body will return back to where it wants to be.

Learning about our inner thoughts:

We have constant chatter in our heads: what we are telling ourselves.
Sometimes they’re useful thoughts, but very often they are not.

The main thing is being aware that we have thoughts and that out thoughts create our experiences.
And from time to time we can try examine those thoughts: Are they encouraging us to take care of ourselves. Are they loving and patient? Or are they making us feel guilty, criticizing ourselves? Which thoughts are more useful in the long run? Are we having thoughts such as “you’ll never get it right”….?
We can just observe them and say, “I choose not to take those thoughts so seriously”.
We all have negative thoughts sometimes so we don’t have to be afraid of them or try fight them. We can just let them be and maybe, try choose more loving thoughts such as;
” I’m doing the best I can right now”,
“I’m a beautiful person with eternal value”,
“I’m going to try give my body the nurturing delicious food it deserves”,
“just because I’m having thoughts about eating that second piece of cake, doesn’t mean I have to take it seriously”,
“thoughts come and go”…
